18th Edition of Piccolo Festival Animazione, San Vito al Tagliamento, November 2025
For this trailer, I was playing with the idea of a character only half visible, showing up partially, in moments. I wanted the piece to be dancy, fleeting, and mostly abstract, -inspired by rhythm and musical elements. Sound artist Fa Ventilato, who has recently taken up Banjo playing, contributed the music.
Some of the drawn lines are produced by a rubber ball toy I bought from a toy machine. By letting the ball rolling and jumping over the paint, a certain randomness is being introduced to the animation.
