The storyboard is my main tool in developing a film. Before beginning to paint an animation on glass, the film already exists as an idea, manifested in the storyboard. For Airport, I made a 23 meter long storyboard out of index cards stitched together. This storyboard is on view as part of APP’N’CELL NOW, along with a projection of the film (Nov 15 – Dec 31, 2020 at Ziegelhütte Appenzell.) App’n’cell Now is an experimental exhibition format. 69 artist are giving an insight into the regions vivid contemporary art scene.
